The British Ports Association is excited to showcase your unique experiences in the port sector to inspire school leavers, graduates, and career changers to explore the diverse and rewarding opportunities available in UK Ports. From technology to driving sustainability and working towards net zero, the port industry is at the forefront of change, offering a wide variety of fulfilling job roles.
We’d love to hear how you found your path in the port sector and how your journey can motivate others to follow in your footsteps. Share your story by answering a few key questions - we’ve provided a simple form for you to complete, with a word limit of 400 words and a handy word counter to keep you on track.
As part of your submission, we also ask you to include high-resolution images that bring your story to life. At least one image of you in your work environment and your port logo is required, but feel free to submit additional photos showcasing your workplace, equipment, colleagues, or company branding. Fun, engaging images or shots highlighting challenging yet rewarding aspects of your role are especially welcome.
The deadline to submit your form and images is March 14th 2025. Once we receive your submission, we’ll send you a proof of your profile for review before publication. Please note that submissions may be edited for clarity and consistency. Any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!
